EZ Drummer 3 provides Snare CENTER and Snare EDGE articulations.
But the default Positional Sensing engine is far from being authentic : there are 2 distinct zones with a border point on the radius where the center sound suddenly changes to the edge sound. Of course that won't be the case with an acoustic drum: there it is stepless and not 2 stages!
With the BecauseDrumGeek advanced Snare Positional Sensing Engine you can now have the natural authentic snare drum behavior :

You can additionally apply a custom transition curve ❗️ (i.e. a custom logarithmic or exponential curve) in oder to control the CENTER-to-EDGE transition over the radius (kind of shift the range) -> so you can additionally adjust the stepless transition to achieve any preferred behavior (which is of course even more powerful than with an acoustic snare drum)
