Ableton Live 11 , 12 e-drum Cymbal Choking FIX for any e-drum module - INFO 🙂👉
This short info video is about 3rd party drum sampler Cymbal Choking in
Ableton Live 11 , 12 ❗️
using ANY ! e-drum module that provides Polyphonic Aftertouch midi data
such as
- Roland TD-17 , -11 , -15 , -9 , -25 , -4 , -1 , ... and of course TD-50(X) , -27 , -30 , -20 , -12 , ...
- most Yamaha modules ,
- ATV modules ,
- eDRUMin Trigger-to-Midi devices ,
- some Alesis modules / Medeli-derived modules (like Millenium)
...and many more :)
➜
So a module "Gate Time" ( = module note length) setting is not required when using this FIX !
...and when using modules like Roland TD-50X , -27 , there is no need to adjust any "Gate Time" setting for connected drum pads ! :)
Enjoy ❗️😊
... so if you want to choke Cymbals (in AL11 , 12) in
∙ Superior Drummer 3 (/ 2)
∙ EZ Drummer 3 (/ 2)
∙ Steven Slate Drums 5.5
∙ Addictive Drums 2
∙ GGD (GetGood Drums)
∙ [ any 'Kontakt' drum library ]
∙ BFD 3 (/ 2)
∙ Groove Agent 5 (/4)
∙ and of course in many more drum samplers
you'll need the following components:
∙ an e-drum module / trigger device which transmits Polyphonic Aftertouch (most modules provide these midi data)
∙ Ableton Live 11 , 12 Suite __ or __ AL Standard 11 , 12 + MaxForLive
∙ the BecauseDrumGeek AL 11 , 12 Cymbal Choking for any e-drum module FIX
∙ Plogue 'Bidule' (which is an outstanding modular DAW at an inexpensive price - this additional software is of course used for additional midi performance only) :)
The fix can be integrated into your existing Ableton Live 11 , 12 projects :)

Taht would be a dream. all the best, Sebastian

It's not a max device but a DAW project that comes along with a personal setup session. Just PM me for more info.
