GGD kits: adding OPEN-CLOSED functionality to additional Hihats 😃👉


adding OPEN-CLOSED functionality to additional Hats!!! (" X-Hats") --> play one pad featuring the closed articulation exclusively (no matter what the controller foot does) and a second pad where you'll have an OPEN-CLOSED feature like on your main Hihat (that means you'll be able to play 2 different Hihats in open-closed mode with one foot controller! This can achieve soooooo much sound!! (here is an example I formerly did with Toontrack Samplers: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ptcPtA6Tmxw&t --> as you can see it sometimes makes sense (and is much fun) to add a second open-closed-capable Hat to the same side (next to the main Hihat). So X-Hats need not necessarily be positioned on the opposite side ...or even have it both with three different Hats!😊)

You will also be able to add a second hihat ("X-Hat") to the packs "Modern & Massive" and "Matt Halpern Signature / PIII" though they provide only one hihat slot.
Even the "P4" kit can provide a pitched version of the only available (one) hihat model in order to create an X-Hat. 😊
