I recently got hold of The Bronze Kit from Red Pack Drums and wanted to write a track around it.
This is a $30,000 solid bell bronze drum kit with 5mm shells, weighing around 330 pounds. Definitely one of the craziest drum sounds I’ve heard in a long time.
The library was recorded in insane detail for Kontakt and works really well for modern metal, aggressive mixes and e-drums.
So I figured I’d put together a track using the kit and see where it went.
