"MODERN & MASSIVE" dream kit FIX 😃👉

For properly working and authentic e-drum translation + advanced additions:

(a "Modern & Massive" kit does not feature many kit pieces by default. So the e-drumming fun may be significantly increased by adding more kit pieces!...)

∙ Hihat : Variable CC Hihat FIXED: adjustable stage levels + open sound issue when closing quite softly.
(the issues:
1.: when using the Variable Hihat ("CC") you won't be able to adjust the volume of single/certain open/closed stages/articulations. So I've fixed this! Very important fix as in many cases you will want to get a closed articulation louder or soften an Open one)
2.: when you close the hihat quite softly it won't mute instantly ( -> same issue like on "P4" then, getting a kind of fade out ). This is fixed now! ;

+ Hihat BOWEDGE separation: (very important fix!!)
( there are no dedicated BOW and EDGE articulations by default: both are merged within the only available articulations --> This FIX separates them to become playable with a common dual zone hihat pad ) 👉 LINK

Hihat : the Pedal Chick articulation gets a separated dynamic control! (as this is not possible with most e-drum modules/(trigger devices)) ;

+ CUSTOM hihat curve ( 👉 LINK )

additional Variable Hihat Feature: Consistently controllable 2-closed-stages Variable Hihat for GGD e-drummers 👉 LINK

∙ Snare : separated CENTER ↔ RIMSHOT ( + Sidestick) --> the range of Center Head Snare Samples is translated to the whole velocity range -> so the high velocity CENTER sounds will be played when hitting hard ( = no Rimshots on the center head)
the Rimshots will be available on the snare pad's rim (also the "Sidestick" with a velocity border, if you like)
You can also decide to keep some of the lower Rimshot stages within the main center snare (on high vel strokes) and only outsource the loudest Rimshots to the rim of the snare pad.🙂 ;

additional GGD Snare FIX feature: Snare Engine toggle 👉 LINK

∙ Cymbal Choking : you will be able to choke all the Cym sounds (except the Ride sound) by choking any of your crash cym pads (even choking the hihat can achieve this if you like). The Ride pad will exclusively choke the Ride sound and won't affect Crashes/Splashes/Chinas ;

additional Cymbal Choke Feature: "Mute Tail" articulations are triggered when cymbals are choked ( --> just like SuperiorDrummer3 handles cymbal choking! ) 👉 LINK

∙ adding two (!) (a second and a third one) TomToms + adding a left Floor Tom (so you can have the Tom setup similar to the INVASION kit) ;

∙ adding a second Snare or call it Side Snare (as you deserve a second Snare and a rich in variety drumsound!) ;

∙ adding a (right (for right-handers)) X-HAT!! (as it increases pleasure of playing so much and provides a varied hihat sound!) ;

∙ Double Bass Drum sound for single Kick Pads :
play a DoubleBassDrum sound with alternating Kick sounds (the second Kick will sound slightly different in order to achieve an authentic DoubbleBass sound/feel and to avoid machinegunning) and toggle the kick drum engine (default Single-Sound vs. advanced engine Double-Sound) after your musical needs during a song (by dedicated toggle pad hit) 👍 👉 LINK ;

adding two more Crash cymbals (one additional Crash on the left side and one on the right side), thus using all the Crash cymbals that M&M provides);

adding a second Ride cymbal (i.e. an additional "Heavy Bell Ride" sound is so much fun!), thus using all the Ride cymbals that M&M provides ;

adding one more China (and invert its panning, incl. OH/Room)! (though actually only one China is available in M&M by default) ;

adding one more Splash (and invert its panning, incl. OH/Room)! (though actually only one Splash is available in M&M by default) ;

If you want your custom settings on GGD kits (i.e. midi mapping and sound) and you want them to stay you can also send me your project files and I can add the mentioned features and send it back to you. 😊
