Sensory Percussion <-> Roland software drumming comparisons 👉

There are these comparisons with the Sensory Percussion system. Many people want to replace at least their rubber cymbal pads with the new SP system.
Maybe time for a warning:

Sensory Percussion software drumming latency is definitely nowhere as low as Roland V-71/-51/-31 software drumming latency.

Talking about snare drum trigger features: That's another point why the BecauseDrumGeek SD3 snare system is the superior technology : stepless PositionalSensing + L/R distinction + Center Rimshots vs. Shallow Rimshots + Sidestick playing method can be at 6 milliseconds in total (Roland module scan time is amazing considering this detailed PS data). Sensory Percussion does not even have all of these features and will, at best, be well over 10 milliseconds (propably towards 20 ms) - the scan time is significantly longer.

So when judging trigger capabilities, always take scan time into account ❗️
