A question about these faulty Roland module updates came up in the FB group.

Here is my answer :

I'm so glad that as a VST e-drummer, you don't have to deal with all that additional annoying internal Roland stuff and can completely ignore it 🙂. You won't need the V71 v.2.0 firmware update. Roland modules are only a trigger-to-MIDI device for us - so as long as the updates don't affect the pads and the trigger performance in a negative way (and that should never be the case!), everything is fine: You can all be happy to be on the bright side of e-drumming!
