For all Kerim "Krimh" Lechner fans and Heavy Metal drummers interested in electronic drums who are heading to drum-tec's DRUM BASH on October 17 and 18 (not least because Kerim will be there), I have a special treat in store:
the maximally optimized “Krimh Drums (by Bogren Digital)” e-kit with unique and ingenious enhancements such as:

1. three switchable X-Hat states (Tight + Closed + Closed Loose) that can be selected (by dedicated Toggle Pad hit) while you're playing

2. hit another dedicated Toggle Pad and override those three fixed X-Hat states with a Variable CC X-Hat (controlled by your main hihat pedal) ➜ so you'll have a second Variable Hihat on the right side as an addition to your left (Variable CC) Main Hihat! (This means that you control the degree of X-Hat opening with the same hihat pedal that also controls the degree of opening of the main hihat!). Hit the same Toggle Pad again to return to the three switchable fixed states.

3. Double BassDrum Sound for single Kick Pads :
play a DoubleBassDrum feel with alternating Kick sounds ("Kick Main" + "Kick 2") in order to sound authentically and to avoid machinegunning and toggle the kick drum engine (Single-Sound vs. Double-Sound) after your musical needs during a song (again by dedicated Toggle Pad hit)!
- note: this feature has nothing to do with the default Krimh Dums "Auto Double Kick" feature ➜ so YOU decide when you want to switch to A-B sound and when to switch back to single Kick sound (independently of the bass drum playing speed).

4. 'Mute Tail' Cymbal Choking ( = the Mute Tail sounds are dynamically triggered when you choke a cymbal (➜ just like SuperiorDrummer3 handles cymbal choking!) )
+
advanced Cymbal Choking : choke all Krimh Drums Crashes / Chinas / Splashes with any of the e-kit's cymbal pads

5. improved Ride (bow / tip / "Main") Engine : A soft hit will no longer choke/fade out a loud hit

6. an additional nice Side Snare (featuring Positional Sensing like the main snare)

7. Main Hihat: Play Hihat Splashes on your Hihat Pedal (Roland and similar)

ENJOY ❗️😊
