Hello (e-)drummer,

my name is Martin, I am BecauseDrumGeek, and today I would like to inform you about the world's most powerful and at the same time best and most authentic sounding e-drum systems.

There are two types of systems: one aims to make e-drums sound and translate as close and authentic as possible to their acoustic counterparts, the other aims to provide creative and innovative enhancements to open up new creative drum playing possibilities. I'll come back to the second type in a separate post (P.S.: ...it's here ➜ LINK, btw); for now, let's focus on the first category, namely making the e-drums as “A”-suitable as possible:

There are some novelty features (in terms of authenticity to acoustic drums) in the e-drum sector that I think should be of great interest to every e-drummer who wants to get as close as possible to the acoustic counterpart:

Namely, the world's most powerful and at the same time best-sounding and most authentic-sounding e-drum systems that provide Right / Left Hand Distinction on snare and hihat together with stepless Center-to-Edge Positional Sensing on snare and the whole thing (with existing Wires-Off versions of drum sampler kits or kit pieces) on top of that as a snare-Wires-Off version of the entire kit that can be switched during playing (by hitting a dedicated Toggle Pad) with all the PS features mentioned above!

L/R brings the e-drum-playing experience a significant step closer to playing on an acoustic kit!Because the played "sticking" can be heard and felt and doesn't go nowhere like it used to on electric drums.

So if you want your e-drums to be as close a substitute for acoustic drums as possible, there's no getting around authentic Right/Left Hand Positional Sensing paired with stepless Center-to-Edge Positional Sensing.
I can now provide this with state-of-the-art drum samplers like Superior Drummer 3 for real-time triggering of these original drum samplers (i.e. without limited sample import into black box systems*, i.e. all original mixing and routing options and possibilities of the original drum sampler and the DAW remain!

...And there is so much more for you e-drummers to discover (e.g. how powerful can the digital ride cymbal get -> triggering up to 9 different articulations on the ride) :)

You can play and test these e-drum systems exclusively at my place - so send me a PM if you like :).

ENJOY ❗️😊

( * from the original post ) :

A few words about people's ideas of buying small, inexpensive black boxes and then diligently shoveling SuperiorDrummer3 samples onto them. (Apart from the fact that you also need a high-quality and fast DA conversion, which of course cannot be achieved with cheap consumer components, it is utopian to assume that there is a DSP and sampler engine at the start that is on a par with a powerful computer that is currently running SD3 in real time...) :

I don't even know what they always have with their SD3 sample export/import: Trying to extract drum samples authentically from the complex SD3 (complex also mainly because of the many mic channel and Bleed options, the dynamic effects and, when it comes to the sampler engine, the many detailed sample layers with the so-called “Adjacent Layers” playback engine and the many Round Robins and RoundRobin options) is in any case an “Act of the Unspeakable”, an unspeakable job that you definitely don't want to do, and which even in the best and most elaborate and labor-intensive case is still a long way from a 1:1 translation of the original. This makes very little sense, especially in the case of SD3, when you consider how comparatively simple, authentic, comfortable and powerful it is to play the original directly, with all the original sound and routing possibilities and options left.

And now to a rather unpleasant topic in this regard, the reactions of envious people and haters:

The fact that I have the most powerful e-drum systems in the world naturally doesn't sit well with some of the big names in the e-drum scene, and there is even someone who has started a very nasty defamation campaign against me in his e-drum forum. Pathetic characters whose envy and resentment go so far that they develop almost criminal energy, which is absolutely sick and frightening.

The original post here is also the only information you (e-)drummers will get about R/L, because these innovations are completely ignored by the vast majority in the "e-drums" niche scene. With the exception of drum-tec, who were kind and fair enough to take a look at it and give me an opportunity for a presentation (thanks again to drum-tec for this and best regards ❗️).

You can even combine the two types of e-drum systems ( -> 1. make e-drums sound and translate as close and authentic as possible to their acoustic counterparts + 2. provide creative and innovative enhancements to open up new creative drum playing possibilities)

➜ I managed to equip the "SD3 - Four Hihats Transmute Engine" with stepless Center-to-Edge-Positional Sensing and R/L-hand distinction on snare: It can't get any more awesome and attractive than this ❗️😊
