NI drum libs: play native(!) left/right hand samples on the snare and hihat at the free VST-e-drum-Workshop on June 27th / 28th in Hannover ❗️😊👉
#1

And yet another novelty feature, which is being launched for the first time and which I would like to go into in more detail:
You can experience what it's like to play native(!) left/right hand samples on the snare and hihat at the free VST-e-Drumming-Workshop on June 27th / 28th in Hannover! :
With the extremely cool-sounding NI "Studio Drummer" and "Abbey Road Drummer Collection" kits! (Toms are also possible with additional digital pads, as native L-R samples are also available there). And the whole thing on the snare is paired with the important 'stepless Center-to-Edge Positional Sensing' and 'velocity-loss-to-edge' compensation! ( ➜ No one wants to play Snare Off-Center/Edge/Halfway articulations if they suddenly appear/change hard at a certain point in the mesh head radius!)
I can justifiably claim that I have the world's most powerful and best-sounding e-drums at the start. Check it out: Is it just a gimmick or a groundbreaking innovation? ➜ All I can say is that L/R brings the e-drum-playing experience a significant step closer to playing on an acoustic kit. Because the played "sticking" can be heard and felt and doesn't go nowhere like it used to on electric drums.
So if you want your e-drums to be as close a substitute for acoustic drums as possible, there's no getting around authentic Right/Left Hand Positional Sensing paired with stepless Center-to-Edge Positional Sensing.
You only have the chance to try it out and have this experience at my place and you shouldn't miss the opportunity now at the end of June at the workshop in Hannover.
I'm also really looking forward to drummers' reactions and feedback on these most powerful and best-sounding e-drum systems (which would be:
1. SD3/SDX/(EZX) kits with R/L on snare and hihat together with stepless Center-to-Edge PS and the whole thing (with existing Wires-Off versions of SD3/SDX kits or kit pieces) on top of that as a snare-Wires-Off version of the entire kit that can be switched during playing with all the PS features mentioned above
+
2. NI "Studio Drummer" and "Abbey Road Drummer Collection" kits with R/L on snare and hihat together with stepless Center-to-Edge PS (+ additional Wires-Off switching for the snare drum)
Enjoy ❗️😊
