With additional and independently functioning “Center-to-Edge Positional Sensing” on the BOW, the advanced “4-Zone Engine” can be further expanded.

Example: 3 PS zones on the Bow :
Left half of the cymbal pad = 1 Edge zone + 3 Bow zones
Right half of the cymbal pad = 1 Edge zone + 3 Bow zones
+ Bell zone
= 9 (❗️) possible zones on the CY-18DR 😊 ➜ so get creative and assign multiple SD3 articulations! ( ➜ can of course be anything and not only the drum sampler's ride cymbal articulations!)
