Hi-Hat Drop Clutch function for SD3-e-drummers 😊👉


This is a great Switch for DOUBLE BASSDRUM and/or creative Hihat action ‼

➜ Hit a dedicated toggle pad (zone) -of course while you're playing- for dropped Top Hihat Cymbal. And just hit it again for normal variable open/closed operation ❗️🙂.

The principle is shown in the 'Creative Hihat Toggle' vid: the same applies to the full Hihat Drop Clutch function which will close (or close with the "Closed Loose" articulation) Edge AND Bow (AND Bell).


[ ➜ In dropped mode you can have the 'Tight' or 'Closed' or 'Open 0 (/1)' articulation for all three zones: Bow and Edge and Bell ,
or even mixed ❗️: -> 'Tight Tip' + 'Closed Edge' --or-- 'Closed Tip' + 'Tight Edge' --or-- 'Closed Tip or Tight Tip' + 'Open Edge 0' --or-- 'Open Tip 0' + 'Closed Edge or Tight Edge' ]
( -- the same applies to the SD3 Hihat Bell articulations -- )

➜ BTW, you can also have different such combinations for the "dropped mode" [of course again switchable by dedicated pad hit(s) while playing!] - this will make sure that the dropped mode 'Closed' Hihat articulations perfectly match your current musical playing situation! 😃.

Additional great benefit (which is of course impossible with acoustic drums!) : the Pedal Chick trigger will stay available in "dropped" state -> so your hihat foot "Chick" can still take action! - which will give you so many nice and creative playing- and sound optitions 👍.




You can also (or additionally!) have the "Hihat Engine Toggle for creative e-drummers" (where only the Bow (+Bell) Zone(s) stays normal ( = varaible open/closed) in 'dropped' mode) :) 👉 LINK ( timestamp : 00:38 - 10:41 )
